Water Distribution Project With Qiandao Lake

The Qiandaohu Diversion Project (officially known as the "Hangzhou Second Water Source Qiandaohu Diversion Project") was completed and put into operation on September 29, 2019. Starting from Jinzhuangpai Village in Chun'an County, it transports water through a 113-kilometer fully enclosed underground tunnel to the Xianlin Reservoir in Yuhang District. As the largest single-investment, longest-distance, and fully enclosed underground tunnel urban water diversion project in Zhejiang Province's history, it plays a crucial role in ensuring the city's water security and improving the quality of life for its residents.
